Thanks for the interview, Philipp. You're so brave and my inspiration right now for me to continue on my faith’s path. I needed this video. I'm a Christian but I struggle and feel my attraction to men at the same time. I started feeling this at school when one day I suddenly felt something about a good-looking boy in my class. I didn’t know what it was, or how to respond to it. I always felt something toward my own gender and handsome guys. My parents are good people and still alive (I’m blessed), and my father was always working and away. As a result, I was raised by my mom (classical situation – the lack of masculinity for me). In my teenage age, God opened my heart and since that time I became a Christian, going to church. At the same time, my desire for men also was growing. The porn industry knocked on the door, but even watching porn I felt that I’m mostly curious and attracted to men’s bodies. I was watching regular porn and then switched to gay porn (I remember I watched something with you acting). Some voices in my head were telling me: “do this, you’ll like it, find a man”. However, I had a lot of opportunities to do this but God always protected me from this sin. I’ve never slept with a man myself and trying not to do it physically. Fighting it. I’m still a virgin. I don’t accept my sexuality even if I call myself gay. My parents and my church don’t know anything about me being in this situation and people are asking me if I have a girlfriend and when I’m going to get married. I’m trying to hide it behind my study and a lot of work but this situation can’t continue forever. A lot of my friends got married and already have kids. I’m just trying to be true to myself and can’t find a girl because I’m afraid I won’t be able to become a good man, husband, good father because of my sexuality and this situation forces me to stay single. I realized I'd like to have a family. Trying to hit the gym. Any suggestions for me being in this situation?
