Pat, I have listened to 95%+ of all of your podcast and this one is in the top 5% maybe the most informative on religious beliefs and values that drive a large part of humanity. I love the respect and ability to speak clearly by you and Reza. I respect you both because you speak from your effort put into research and combine it with passion and emotion. I learned a lot From what Reza said about his research about all the major religions and I totally agree with you that the fact that he took his children around the world to experience other religions was a great idea. There should have been the same stories told by the main stream media but that does not happen because every religion and nation have their own bias or versions of truth and fear loosing their ability to exploit their citizens with blind faith and close mindedness..... Love the question of what religion would you start a nation from scratch with. I say the fact that you insist on a Judeo-Christian as being the best based on productivity and capitalism. May have been relative in the past more than the present. China has evolved as an extremely productive country in a few decades combining capitalism and socialisms but the socialism part that was most valuable was the belief in HIGHER EDUCATION , not more religion. Ditto for India, Wait until they become super productive from hard work and higher education can you point to Hinduism as the reason. I believe in capitalism , but not crony capitalism as does Elon Musk. I do not think Musk is motivated by religion so much when it comes to being productive which is probably why he has said he has respect for China's WORK ethics. He also said more Americans should focus on creating things than wanting to work on Wall Street. Too many people including so called leaders just want easy money. ...
