Thank you SO MUCH for this video!!! I have a melody Susie drill, that I LOVE! I've only had it.... eight months, little under a year. And its stopped working. I've never grinded chalk with it, nor would I. I'm not gonna lie, I have tried the chalk thing, but I used an old, really cheap drill for that. And it STILL WORKS! I think I paid $20 for it, maybe little less, it was cheap. And it's probably five years old. I honestly dunno how the thing is still working. Lol. But it burns, it don't go slow enough for natural nails, don't go fast enough for acrylic. I mostly use it for my toes and the chalk thing. Anyway, enough of my rambling about that. My melody Susie is PERFECT! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! Well, was perfect, I did love it. It started just rattling, then it stopped. The numbers will come on, I can feel the hand piece trying to start, kick on, but won't. When I tried moving the bit myself it would start going around but slowly, and would stop as soon as I would apply any pressure. Now it won't come on even if I move the bit to try n get it going. But I can still hear and feel it trying to start, kick on...... I'm gonna try this cleaning thing. I hope it works! Mine may be something different though. I've used it a bunch, never cleaned it, didn't know I could. Never used a guard. But I've been SO SO careful with it! Haven't dropped it, misused it any way. I really can't afford a new one, my old one as I said is junk. But I've got one in my cart, was about to place the order and let my baby daddy/ boyfriend bitch for spending the money (which he will do) ...... okay this is long enough, too long, sorry! If you never read this I won't blame ya! But if you do and have any advice other than cleaning let me know plz. Haven't tried cleaning yet, gonna try it.
