If your older (35+) I would consider going to the bar/event scene in upscale suburbs like Del Mar, Carlsbad, La Jolla, etc, if your younger places like pacific beach and downtown might be better. I guarantee a quick stroll around Westfield mall will get you 50x more opportunities than any online dating B.
