i think JD supporters are a little wary of going fully on board with the sex party story bc there are missing pieces that haven't fallen into place yet and they don't want to shame her for going to sex parties. as far as JD is concerned, i actually think the sex party story makes him look really good! the fact that the only blackmail photos she was able to get to use against him were of him asleep on the floor and other various places is kinda amazing! to me the sex party story is mainly significant for setting up a pattern in her behavior that we have seen repeatedly. it shows that her time with JD was also time removed from that social circle w/ elon musk and the sex parties, which is interesting. her frustration that she wasn't able to manipulate JD in the same way, that he wasn't interested in going out, he was so boring playing guitar with a bunch of old dudes etc. she and elon started getting together again before the end of the relationship with JD and back to her old ways. her path never really changed which is just more proof that his life was derailed by her, not the other way around. whether she was involved in drugging people, bringing in minors to the sex parties, etc would obviously make everything more serious. but for now i think it is mainly important for context and to show how badly she needs to be the center of the world for the people around her. JD wouldn't give her that and she tried to destroy him for it.
