Ryan, I've been training horses for 25 years, starting horses and working with problem horses. In my journey to horsemanship, I watch other trainers to add more tools to my tool box. I believe each horse is as individual as humans are. So, a certain technique may not work with every horse! Now, I specialize in working with problem horses. Like you, I evaluate the horse at home with the owner. This helps me to determine if I have a person with a horse problem or a horse with a person problem, usually the latter. I find that most problems are a lack of a good foundation. Usually I am able to do some ground work that corrects the problem. Then I make sure that I show the owner how to keep the horse from reverting to the negative behavior. I also inform the client that I don't do the 30, 60 or 90 day schedule. I advise them that it takes as long as it takes. I can't train, nor can a horse learn, on a schedule. Putting time constraints on me equals pressure, which then transfers to the horse. All of which causes negative results. Like you, I try to figure out how the horse learns best and use that technique to accomplish the goal. This worked for me! BUT the file names are a bit different now in Steam so you have to rename the xbox files to whatever it is on Steam. I made a throwaway new community on Steam just so I could see what it generates as before trying to transfer anything. The main save files are called SaveGame_Vanilla_0 on Steam and so on, not Save1.sav. It's still kinda awful guesswork trying to figure out which xbox string of numbers is going to be which file on Steam but at least your biggest file is most likely your main community. One of the comments in the guide says to open the save files in notepad so you can kinda figure out which files are campaign, heartland, etc but I didn't find that too helpful. Good luck to everyone else regardless.
