Something still somewhat anonymous unlike Facebook. Akin to an image board, but with account creation as an option. As well as posts that are permenantly archived. Reddit fulfilled the role of the modern day general purpose forum decently enough but I believe it is and will continue become a faint shadow of what it was as the pressures of becoming a mainstream business crush its original ideals. Community ban waves have stiffled the platform for a few years now. I believe Twitch has also had similar practices towards sensitivities with its users. I think it's a sad state when Twitter may end up being the only platform that somewhat fulfills this role on a larger level. Nonetheless, it still fails in regards to saving groups of discusion in a longer and more substantial format. I'm strongly against media restriction online when at all possible. There does need to be higher standards compared to the early internet but users should be able to customize the extent of the types of content they are willing to see. Imgur could easily integrate NSFW content into an entirely different section of the site with its own seperate branding. Nuking entire libraries in what seems to be some weird act of moralism makes me feel like online sharing is actually taking steps backwards from what has been built. It seems that there is no substantial movement against it unfortunately. I feel it's important that more people talk about this sort of thing. I want to thank you for being essentaily the only individual I've found on YouTube who is trying to shed some light on it.

The Comedian is the most...attentive to the moral nature of humanity. To me one of the points of Watchmen is how all of these heroes are wrong. It’s wrong of them to inflict their own version of morality on society at large. That’s alluded to a lot in the comics: Rorschach is known for punishing homosexuals; Manhattan thinking of humans as less than he, Ozy’s masterplan in general. Eddie on the other hand possesses the self-awareness to see how wrong it is for these “heroes” to decide what’s right and what’s wrong. He thought it was funny, these people walking around in costumes claiming to commit crimes in the name of justice. People who violently fight in the name of peace. Personally, I think he is trying to bring public attention to the absurdity of the vigilantes themselves. And I think he’s successful, he’s probably one of the big reasons the Keene Act happened to begin with.
