You’re spot on. I grew up in a small New England town amongst very old money. Household name products family money. No one would have known if you saw these people on the street. We all dressed the same which pretty much consisted of LLBean and Izod. Some of my friends houses were superbly decorated and may have had more than a station wagon in their garage.
