I moved to DC a few months ago because I was single and DC was supposedly one of the best places for dating in the country. My experience has been awful here, like totally awful. I’m rarely getting any matches on dating apps, and when I do they rarely respond. If I actually get someone who’s willing go to go on a date, all I hear about is how busy they are and how they have so much to do for work and can’t go out until 2 or 3 weeks out. Then they “forget” about the date and need to reschedule. Or they just play endless games and say they want to go out even though they have no intention. Assuming I actually get a 1st date these girls don’t even like to drink and are extremely boring and only want to talk about their generic government jobs.

Very interesting! I love that women (like you) are finally starting to talk about it more openly. Similarly to you when I was 14 I was told by older friends that women HAVE to remove their pubic hair. I remember several occasions around the age of 14-16 (when I didn't regularly remove it) when male and female friends made me feel ashamed of having pubic hair. The shame eventually made me 'conform' and so I started shaving my pubic hair every time I took a shower (despite itchiness and razor burn) for the next 7 years. 

I figuratively bumped into Tom Cruise at an MI premier in London a number of years ago. I was walking through a tunnel and when I came out on the other side, Tom Cruise was out there signing autographs, taking selfies with fans. He must have stayed out there for a solid hour and a half. Didn't leave until he saw virtually everyone. I have only respect for him.
