DH speaks to his parents about 5 times a week. They do this so that they can properly 'launch', themselves into the adult world and become independent. You handle it by carrying on as normal.

Boundaries have to become your new best friend. It is not normal for your parents to treat you this way, and it's definitely not okay. Nothing is ever, ever their fault.
