For the tonsils it was about 2-3 weeks, but that first week was “the worst” of it. Other things, the pain is terrible right after and gets progressively better.

I so wish that the decision the have them out was made when I was a lot younger. I was told NOT to take ibuprofen under any circumstances.

Just sleep a lot and plan to have movies lined up or some shows to binge.
