All those toys are based on the cartoon from the 90s not the games. That's why many of the characters look so different Krusha Diddy and DK being the most accurate to the game.

The amazing thing about Konosuba is how none of the main characters would ever work in other anime. Cautious hero tried to make their own version of Aqua, and it didn't work at all. Her mindless rambling and bitchiness doesn't work without a cynical foil like Kazuma because none of main four characters in Konosuba are funny without each other. It's their interactions which make the show so enjoyable. I think my biggest complaint with the dub(the dub was fantastic otherwise) is how Arnie Pantoja makes Kazuma seem more sympathetically sarcastic and less of the asshole otaku he actually is. If Kazuma were some limp dick overpowered regular Isekai protagonist who was being dragged down by his party of useless women, the show wouldn't work at all. It's this dynamic where all of the characters are an equal level of useless or shitty which makes all of their misfortunes hilarious, rather than sympathetic. This becomes especially obvious with their interactions with the more normal side characters and even the devil king's army. When they fought the dullahan it didn't feel like an important battle to the death, it felt like Kazuma and his party's shittiness just bullied him into submission and it was hilarious. Even the villains are more sympathetic than the main cast and it just reinforces the idea that Konosuba isn't about heroes, it's about four weirdos bumbling around and accidentally doing heroic shit sometimes and the show does a really good job of keeping that tone throughout. Overall Konosuba is easily in my top five and it's the only comedy anime I've ever watched which is still just as funny the second or third time around.
