Okay so here's an argument in favor of teaching kids about the big M earlier than most people might think. I'm making an assumption here, but it's very well based in a lot of literature. When he said his physical attributes are the biggest thing, i think that there's a very very very fair chance that he's drastically underestimating the mental effects. The mental effects of low T are, much like many many other mental issues, so fucking hard to see while they're happening to you. I don't have XXY, but i have a pretty serious primary hypogonadism from an accident. My T was almost always <150, for decades, and i didn't even know what the issue was, i just thought i was fucked up. I managed to eat ok, do ok cardio and lifting that i killed myself to do all of those things, it was miserable. But i thought that was just who i was. After starting hrt and combining all of that, i stay at about 750ish now. And i swear to you that it's like, idk, you just can't even self assess at those low levels. The mental change to me is absolutely insane. I literally can't stress enough how much better and brighter and more capable, i am mentally and emotionally and how that spills into every single thing ever. If you get your levels right, the body will do better, and the mind will do better, and that makes the body to better, and that makes the mind to better, etc, it's a self fueling cycle of improvement.
