was recently terminated from a NASA facility. I was a Boeing employee through a Contractor. They brought 4 security guards and 2 managers One of which I worked under. I was told I was being terminated due to attendance.Never recieved a letter of termination and warning letter or anything. I was in total shock and disbelief. I was immediately upset and shook up. No one showed concerned for my feelings. My termination was on a friday evening. I had an hour drive home crying hysterically not understanding how this could be happening. I had been a great employee with many acknowledgments sent in of my ethics and achievements. I was so excited to be part of an amazing program.I was liked by Many coworkers and managers. With that being said I was out 14 days for covid as per their policy from exposer in 2021. Also out due to Hurricanes in Louisiana and a Shut down I was out 4 days. Also Out due to other storm weather was out 2 days. They said I missed too many days and walked me out. Immediately taking my work laptop with personal information I wanted to forward to my personal email. I was told gaurds wouldnt wait that long and was rushed ti gather my things I could. This happened during our lunch break when when all other employees were in the lunch room where I had to gather my things from my locker. It was the Most humiliating experience I e ever endured. I had worked with my coworkers for nearly 3 years. My manager said only he was there as a representative for Boeing and needed to collect my Boeing items(computer and such) Until that Moment I had a Great professional relationship with my manager. I also had worked under the other manager standing there in silence. I was paraded in front of Coworker friends like a criminal due to lack of attendance by Boeing HR. I only had 4 days off per month due to mandatory overtime which was never part of my time in my time chart. I never got holiday pay or triple time like Direct employees. In reality I had only called in 9 Days in a year 3 were my vehicle broke down. I drove an Hour each way. The 6 days through out the year were just because I was exhausted working 12 nights staright. This may seem only like a rant but I was a dedicated caring employee for over 2 years. Im heart broken of the treatment I recieved...
