Lee literally gives up everything for his friends in the end dude. He gives up Elle to be with Noah, he gives up Rachel to be with Elle, he gives up Rachel again so she can go to her dream school, he gives up Elle again so she can go be her own person, and he gets left alone in the end with only calls from friends and family. He never even got a chance to be friends with his brother who has had everything he ever wanted and had everything I had (plus you were the only thing that I had that he didn't, but I guess he has that too and Watched Noah becoming friends with Rachel). Lee never got to keep one thigs for his own. We don't even get to see his love for and abilities in architecture until the 3rd one because the whole world revolves around Noah and Elle being suited for other people and not each other but not giving up that toxic relationship. Like yeah, some things are worth fighting for, but sometimes you need to realize that Noh will never be a silly, gaming all nighter, who likes to dance; and Elle will never be a serious, early riser, cappuccino and wine and pool table kind of girl. It's not quirky, its unhealthy. I'm not saying she should be with Marco or Lee. I don't really care who she's with as long as it's not Noah. And I don't care if Noah would end up with Chloe or even Rachel would have been a healthier choice. But on the subject of Lee; the poor dude constructed his whole world around these pillars that left him because they thought he wasn't as important as anything they wanted. He got backstabbed so many times dude, I'd whine too. I love Elle, I love Rachel, I love Lee, I love Chloe, I love Marco. They are all such interesting characters. But Lee deserved better smh.
