I bought this super cute Meow stitch kit when I got COVID for the second time and I’ve been afraid of even opening it! Yours turned out beautiful and different from the one of the picture. I think that gives it an extra touch. You own touch. Thank you for sharing! And for your encouragement! I love the triangle picture behind you

The dangling animation reminds me a lot of the Scientist in the Elevator shaft in Half-Life 1

After over 16 years of being dyslexic and being educated by a dyslexic I've acquired a lot of strategies for how I can learn at a similar rate to my peers without having a mental break down every day. For text books or non fiction books I use a lot of highlighters and take a lot of notes religiously. And to make sure I properly understand my notes I first type it all up on my laptop so I can get little things like the spelling, the grammar and formatting out of the way quickly and easily. And then I copy all of those notes by hand into a note book, which helps me memorize it. Then I review the topic, either by scheduling time with a teacher a tutor for in person classes or simply re-watching the video for digital classes. For novels or fiction I have to read it 3 - 6 different times depending on how much information I need to learn about it. 1. To understand the style of writing the author is using. 2. Is the main plot of the story (weather it's about a main character or something else) 3. Is understanding any plot line that was secondary to the main plot of the story. That's generally where I leave it for most stories, but if I'm reading something like the Iliad or 1984 or any story that alludes to a bigger message, I read it another 3 times just to see how those 3 parts of the story; writing style, mine plot, secondary plot lines. All relate to that over arching message in the text. For math (witch I also struggle with) it's actually a lot simpler. Just a few memorizing exorcizes of equations and formulas and we're good to go. As for daily things like directions or shopping, I just generally focus on the color or shape and the positioning of something like a street sign or a box of food and work up from there. To make what's already a long story short, I don't really mind my dyslexia any more. Sure some days I need to take longer brakes then the average person but I've never been like the average person, being dyslexic is all I've known for the majority of my life so I really wouldn't know the difference. To be frank it's the fear of people misunderstanding my condition and making harsh assumptions about my personal character that stresses me out rather then the condition itself.
