I think the anyone who has native blood should be proud of that. I’m Mexican descendant, a person who has indigenous blood (most likely from the Purépecha people from Michoacán, Mexico). Denying my indigenous background would be denying a part of myself. It shouldn’t matter how indigenous you are, the fact that you are indigenous, is something you should be proud of, our roots are here and of this continent!
