The pandemic has tempered Atlanta traffic considerably. As an Uber/Lyft driver, I used to avoid driving during rush hours in the morning and afternoon - but, now, it's actually not too bad. And, many of the communities that used to be on the worst places to live in Atlanta lists are now up and coming communities where gentrification has displaced the crime and pushed out those who can no longer afford to live there. Cabbage Town, for example, used to be one of those poor communities with high crime and poverty, and now you can hardly find any homes for less than $400k to buy.
