Además, uno central solo podría atraer a los aros con diferente polaridad, y estos segundos se repelerían entre ellos. En cambio, dividiéndolo en varias partes con esa forma(como está hecho el sistema) esto se logra de manera más directa, ya que simplemente ponen imanes alternados. Es más simétrico así que hay más configuraciones de equilibrio en las que los 3 aros pueden estar unidos al mismo tiempo. Si fuera un imán con forma de anillo y tuviese 3 aros, esa configuración es directamente imposible.
