I had several procedures which went well for me, but my breast augmentation was botched by a leading UK reconstructive plastic surgeon where I live. My surgery was more complex because I have pectus excavatum, so before the breast implants could be positioned, I had a hard silicone prosthesis placed over the muscle covering the depression in my ribcage, this was necessary to stop the implants from sinking into the cavity in my chest wall. I paid a lot of money for this surgery and although another attempt was made a year later in 2011, it failed. Since then not only have I had to wear a mastectomy prosthesis and pocketed bras etc, but in 2012 I developed an auto immune condition. I had to stop transitioning due to illness. However since 2016 I have recovered much of my mobility and health, despite all of this I have restarted my transition again and aim to become post op. There are too many channels which are pushing or glamourising the whole transgender issue, and never talk about the consequences the emotional psychological distress that WE GENUINE TRANS WOMEN FACE OR THE COMPLICATIONS OF SURGERY AND HEALTH.
