I work at a psychiatric hospital. We're also a teaching hospital so we hire a lot of newly graduated students, like social workers, music therapists, etc. Most of them are 30 and under and woke. Thankfully she's moved on but one social worker we hired immediately went to HR and staff development demanding we implement sensitivity training. We already had that. We have cultural awareness training, sexual harassment training, and so on. But apparently that wasn't good enough. Long story short, they had to bring in a consultant to give a presentation that incorporated gender bullshit. So imagine a room filled with seasoned nurses and clinicians, who have worked in psychiatry for decades, listening to a lecture from a 27 year old scold about pronouns and gender expression. One elder nurse stood up, went Pfft. I don't have time for this, and walked out of the presentation and went back to her unit. Fortunately nothing happened to her. You can tell who is woke by their email signatures. The wokies all have their pronouns in their signatures. I can't WAIT for this bullshit to end.
