She's the one and only one I've ever felt that way for, I thought it was normal because we were really close ! we were soulmates, best friends, we were always in sync, we could legit read eachother's mind ! We'd have fights too but when we got together, it felt like the fight never existed... in last 2 years of our highschool, our stream changed and I found a best friend, I somehow knew she was my best friend, Me and my old friend would hangout less and one day we got into fight and I told her I don't think that she's my best friend anymore, I didn't feel bad saying that to her, but she was still special to me, not the best friend kind... that broke our friendship and we completely cut off from eachother's life... one day a friend mentioned if I talk to her, I said nope, he mentioned I cannot imagine that ! you two were always glued to eachother! and I always thought you two were girlfriends!

I think what Carter was talking about is not victim blaming but about how useful it is to have a list of red flags and deal breakers, especially for new girls in the industry who might not know to watch out for that shit. Like the situation she was talking about at the beginning--if you walk into a house and you see girls sleeping on mattresses on the floor, that's a RED FLAG. Get out. Just like going on dates. Red flags and warning signs are important and useful.
