I knew this was coming...and just think this is an area that wasn't affected too badly, can you imagine how it will be in the places of extreme surges,power outages etc? My uncle says he is fine at Holden Beach NC and the inlet/stream thingy (can't remember what he called it) had just risen a little and they were keeping an eye on it. They have people under curfew in Myrtle beach SC,and it's only raining there, surf is nothing like I would expect with a hurricane and they are keeping people off streets and pushing curfew hard on MSM. honestly from the footage I saw myrtle for rocked harder when I was down there at senior week I'm 07 than it is tonight I'm Live news reports. I'm expecting all area in the path to be curfewed as this storm comes through. I do know that some places the storm worse than others but even so it's more of a rain dumping storm instead of destructive winds. These trees are falling from water and disease not high winds. They claim winds are toppling trees in Charlotte just a few hours ago and I just can't believe that since they just showed a tree in a car and no rain, wind etc and I'm only 1.5he's away with nothing bad here yet. The only pier damage I've seen is what local news said and showed clip of Carolina pier being wiped out and showed footage of a different pier claiming it was Carolina. It appeared to be Kure which borders Carolina beach but I can't be for sure, I only assume this because people have trouble identifying the two beaches because they run into one another.Plus It resembled Kure(go down there twice a year since I was a kid). It was a wooden pier they showed and Carolina pier is concrete and rebar! Most will probably think this storm took out Carolina beach concrete pier when the news is either purposely lying or trying to make people think that it worse on that island than what it is. I uploaded the segment on my channel, first time ever for me, but I want to catch these things in real time cause the MSM are really making this sound material law etc with how they are acting and stating things. New Bern is under curfew as well and these curfews they say will continue indefinitley ( this is word for word what is running across the bottom of my tv on my local news station)
