I grew up in that area and it wasn't anything like that in the late 70's early 80's. Things started to change around the time they extended the bus route to the area.

Joe Budden wasn't being serious at all and he was basically seeing how fast this would spread and to see how many people would talk about it and run with it to prove a point and what he did actually worked because everyone is calling him gay/bisexual and everyone is talking about this but everyone is acting like being gay or bisexual is wrong, bad, or a disease but Joe was basically making a point and it worked. Joe is clearly not gay nor bisexual but if he really was it's really none of no one's business I will never understand why people care so much about other people's sexual preference instead of just worrying about themselves and what and whom they like, it's called mind your business and why do people care so much about being in everyone's business and always want to comment on who and what someone likes. People can date whom ever they want worry about yourself people like seriously get a life, a hobby, something and just stop being nosy and having crazy opinions about other people's business.
