I love this, great concept of 5&5! For me Ohio is just home, I have lived and worked all over the country at various times before I retired. I, like many other people I know moved back to Ohio after they retired. You can not beat the healthcare., housing prices, cost of living and family oriented -just nice people. You are right about not suffering bozos. Grant it roads can get bad ( the whole freeze and thaw thing)…there are two real seasons in Ohio, Winter and construction! That being said, I could drive from NE Ohio to Cincinnati in about three hours ( not sure it was at the legal speed limit🤪) People don’t talk about miles to someplace, it is min or hours. I live in N Central Ohio now and I am an hour drive away from Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo, and a little over an hour to Warren/Youngstown area, 45 min to Akron. So, you can live in the sticks for the nature and quiet, but you want the big city and all it has to offer it’s just a drive away. There are so many cool museums, art centers, cultural center, libraries and outdoor activities abound! Colleges and universities dot the state! Golden Buckeye, senior discounts. Yeah, spring…just went from single digit windchill two days ago and snow to 70 and windy today! (Writing this the end of March), we get snow in April as well, generally it doesn’t stick around long. When I was a kid we had snow some years in May. Oh know it’s spring when they start testing the tornado sirens on Tuesdays. Weather here is very unpredictable for spring and fall especially. The storms that time a year can be epic! I love fall with all the colored leaves, fall is a great time in Ohio! I used to love winter, but the older I get…not so much! It’s pretty if you don’t have to go out in it. So, if you don’t like cold, clouds, snow, mosquitoes, orange cones, pot holes and politics then it may not be the place for you; however, Ohio is the “heart of it all”. Ohio does have some distinct regions, NE Ohio part of the old Connecticut Western Reserve has a east coast flavor, SE Ohio is part of Appalachia, southern Ohio has a southern flavor and the rest is more Midwest ( reminds me of Kansas), I have heard Ohio call the north of the south, the west of the east, the south of the north and the east of the west. I like it here, I don’t see the crime or drug thing where I’m at, but I know it exists,

I appreciated this video so much. This is one of my favorite activities to do and for many years I did feel very shy and a little shameful about my interest in this activity. Definitely took a few partners who were open to or even really enjoy receiving this experience to help me feel more confident and eager to engage in this activity.
