I've only recently started to watch the show again and I'm like bloody 15. Back then I thought the parents were justified on getting angry with him and showing favoritism towards Peter because he was the Good kid. But watching the 1st few episodes all I really felt was annoying because yeah Henry was generally a bit of a complicated kid but he was never corrected properly. All they did was yellow at him and then sent him to his room, I used to think that he was stupid to not know why but rewatching it I got angry because they never even addressed it or even explained what he did was wrong.. The poor kid Practically yelled and screamed all the time because he was never corrected other than being grounded, No one sat him down at all or talked to him and I actually felt happy in that 1 episode where his mother's boss came over And how to talk with Henry, He was actually the only person who sat him down and explained that he was the same and Henry could relate to him, And even when he got I am covered in chocolate or mud he still smiled at him and just gettingdidn't yell at him which I feel like was a sweet episode, Because for once he got to feel like someone generally did get him, Not just yell that hes horrid or yell that hes a bad kid but someone who understood that he WAS a kid. That he's not an adult. He doesn't understand what hes doing is wrong hes a bloody kid. Treat him like one but also treat him like you would do with your other damn child. I feel bad for him but I also feel bad for Peter, His parents keep telling him that hes good and perfect but in that 1 episode they clearly showed favoritesm towards Henry when the Henry started to be good and Peter got upset because all the attention was not on him anymore and he thinks hes gonna be a disappointment. Henry clearly cares about his brother but he also has resentment towards him because hes the perfect kid which I understand. It just makes me angry whenever I see his parents on screen but aside that I'm just trying to enjoy the show, I can't believe I thought that the parents were justified, like darn. Hes *10*. They didn't even care when he tried to tell them that the length lady was taking his food! Come on now!
