I was so taken with Brad Renfro when I was younger. The Client was one of the first Adult movies that I really watched on repeat A LOT (hello puppy love). The Cure was another movie that Brad was so amazing in and obviously Bully is another that comes to mind. The real story of Brad's life is truly sad and when you learn about it, its an odd morbid feeling to realize you were watching someone rise and fall in real time through their work. In some ways, its like Hollywood took him in due to his past and vulnerability and exploited it until there was nothing much left but a worn out addict who never really learned how to live and develop into adulthood. As a real person in a the world and not just a character to play for a few months. It's sad to think of the man he could have become.
